Olga Balompa (MSc, PgDip, PgCert, BSc)

Clinical Health Psychologist & Psychotherapist

In a world that moves too fast, where meaningful relationships are scarce, I aim to provide psychological safety, authenticity and connection; to help you heal from trauma and loss.

Let’s slow down, let’s look deep, and let’s figure it out together.

Relational Trauma Therapy

Hi, I’m Olga!

I am a licensed psychologist and psychotherapist.

I offer specialist psychotherapy for relational trauma, grief and low self-esteem.

I have experience working with people who want to better understand themselves and their relationships, along with people who face mental health challenges, such as mood problems, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, complicated grief, and bipolar disorder.

I practice integratively as I am trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Trauma Therapy (TF-CBT, TF-ACT), Chairwork and Mindfulness techniques.

My approach is grounded in compassion, honesty and acceptance, and I tailor therapy to meet you where you are.

Our Services

Those who come to me for support often carry invisible wounds.

A painful thing might have happened to them - or a series of disappointments and unfair treatment.

They often had to navigate complicated relationships or meet relentless expectations as children and adults.

They might have felt misunderstood, invalidated, unseen or ‘not good enough’.

They often experience low self-esteem, guilt and a harsh inner critic that won’t quiet down.

Some are grieving -the loss of a person, a pet, a role, a relationship, or a version of life they hoped for- and they’re trying to figure out how to keep going when everything feels different.

They may be looking for a safe space to make sense of their past; understand why they feel the way they do; and explore what healing and self-growth might look like.

They may long for help in discovering who they are and what gives their life meaning.

Long-term therapy

Long-term psychotherapy offers a safe, consistent space to gently explore ourselves and our struggles. Instead of focusing only on symptoms, it looks at how past experiences -especially in relationships- have shaped how you see yourself, others, and the world.

It supports deep healing by helping you build trust, understand patterns, and develop a stronger sense of self. Together, we work to process painful memories, reduce emotional distress, and create new ways of relating -both within and outside of therapy.

Healing from relational trauma and loss isn’t linear, and it can’t be rushed. Long-term therapy honors that by giving you the time and relationship needed to grow, integrate, and feel whole again.

Short-term therapy

Short-term psychotherapy offers a safe space to address specific challenges or life transitions. It typically lasts anywhere from a few weeks to several months and is designed to support you in gaining insight, relief, and practical tools in a shorter period of time.

It is suitable for those who want to solve a current problem, focus on a particular issue or overcome a recently developed mental health difficulty. It is also useful for those new to psychotherapy who want to learn more about it without committing to ongoing, deeper work.

It’s a supportive space to get clarity, build coping skills, and begin to make meaningful changes.
